Lovely weather we’re having

Have an aspiration but still haven’t started? So much to consider?

Whatever it is that you’re trying to accomplish, stop thinking, take action. Just, make one small action. The task too big? Make smaller. Still too big? Smaller. To the point that you go “that’s too small to be a task, it needs to be more than that” no it does not. Start there.

For me. It’s making this post.

I’ve been trying to start a public blog for myself since I went to Uni. I’m now in my thirties. Let me tell you, I have bike shedded the crap out of my own blog site. Because building software I can do, and blog sites I can make (this one is a chain of very simple scripts that goes from Notion to Cloudflare, best solution yet), but putting my thoughts into prose and putting that on the internet is a much less familiar task. That makes it daunting. That makes it nice and scary and keeping the idea theoretical in my head is safe. It can’t be wrong there. No one can see it and judge it. But no one can see it and appreciate it either.

So. Here is the thing. The ice breaker. The “lovely weather we’re having” of blog posts.
